1 Billion DNS records

Today we exceeded 1 billion DNS records available on the site.

We currently have 805 million current records for our 187 million indexed domains and 199 million historical records.

Wow

Would you be ok to share some more information on your infrastructure?
Ie:
- what language you use and why,
- what kind of server,
- what request rates do you attain
- How do you store data (db/flat text file/binary file)



And i can go on... :-)
